Frequently Asked Questions

Which liquid fertiliser should I choose?

Seaweed fertiliser: If you want to use natural, organic products, seaweed fertiliser fits the bill. Useful nutrients include nitrogen, potassium, phosphate and magnesium. You’ll also find trace elements such as zinc and iron, which are often missing from other fertilisers like fish, blood and bone.

Foliar fertiliser: If you want to apply fertiliser directly to a plant’s leaves, you need a foliar fertiliser. This promotes fast nutrient absorption to help the plant thrive. It encourages water uptake and root growth. Although it works quickly, we still recommend using it alongside soil-based fertiliser for best results.

Iron & sulphur fertiliser: Sulphur promotes a plant’s metabolism and supports proteins, amino acids and enzymes. Iron helps control moss on lawns. For both benefits, we recommend our Amvista L2 Liquid Iron 6% & Sulphur Fertiliser.

Where can liquid fertilisers be used?

Liquid fertilisers can be used on lawns, plants, and other growing areas. Always check the product label for specific approved uses before application.

How do I apply liquid lawn fertiliser?

Application guidance is included on each product page. Rates may vary depending on your goal. For easier and more even application, we recommend using a knapsack or boom sprayer.

Is liquid seaweed fertiliser high in nitrogen?

Yes, seaweed fertiliser contains nitrogen, which helps nourish both lawns and plants.

What is liquid seaweed fertiliser good for?

Liquid seaweed fertilisers absorb more quickly than granular alternatives. This can help grass and plants grow faster and recover more effectively.
