Pure Max 5 L

A plant growth regulator for turf growth management on amenity grassland and managed amenity turf.

Slows growth  in bent, fescue and ryegrass mixes

Coverage:    Variable rate between 0.4 and 3.2L/ha  (1.5 to 12.5 hectares)      

Key notes:

• Frequency of mowing is reduced by restricting the growth of grass
• Volume of grass clippings to be disposed of is reduced
• Useful in difficult to reach areas such as sloping banks
• One application will shorten the blades of grass by up to 20% for around 4 weeks
• • Golf greens & Bowling greens: 0.4L/ha
  • Fairways: 1.8L/ha
  • Sports Fields: 2.4L/ha
  • Perennial Ryegrass turf: 3.2L/ha

Application notes and guidance:

• Do not use on newly sown turf
• Temporary yellowing may occur after treatment and may last up to one week
• Do not use treated grass clippings as a mulch or as a compost component as the safety of use on or around desired plants has not been tested
• Watering in is not required
• Do not apply Pure Max during frosty weather or when rain is expected within 12 hours
• Repeat applications can be made as soon as the grass starts into active growth again, usually after 4 – 5 weeks, but do not apply more than 16 L/ha in any one year
