This type of soil thermometer is frequently used by gardeners, horticulturists & farmers to monitor soil temperatures and compost temperature.

This is an essential tool to measure the correct time to apply biocontrol agents such as nematodes to control soils pests including chafer grub, leatherjackets and vine weevil.

This soil thermometer has a red knob at the top to assist with the location of the thermometer after placement.
